I like to fish… But I Love to Catch!
I like to fish…
But I Love
One person, one day (minimum 4 hours fishing) on different lakes when CDR Dave is seeking to find new bass honey holes. This is a chance to be on a fully rigged boat searching out the new Valhalla for Bass fishing.
Want to learn how to really catch fish? I do 4-5 hours on the water showing at least 5 techniques for bass…more depending on the season and water type. Students who board my boat will always take home new tools on how to find fish and catch fish.

About Commander Dave
Lieutenant Commander David Mitchell grew up fishing lakes throughout Wisconsin and realized his passion before he could drive a car. His fishing life continued in the U.S. Navy.
This military life took him to several locations around the world and all corners of the United States. Each new location came with its own very unique habitat that required Dave to master new fishing techniques along the way.
“My passion is fishing. I have fished all across the U.S. for all types of gamefish. While in the Navy, bass fishing was my focus as they are found everywhere.
I’ve won tournaments in Wisconsin, Illinois, Louisiana, California and Arizona. I’ve taken what I have learned and applied it to fishing in Northern Wisconsin. The fishing up here can be amazing, with 100 fish days during peak conditions. With so many lakes to choose from, I can usually find a lake at any time of the year that is hot.
I can teach you the techniques to apply on your local waters or help you find the hot spots and techniques to take your fishing to the next level.”
His great library of angling knowledge, ever-expanding list of hooked and released species and monster collection of fish stories have led him back to the Northern woods and lakes of Wisconsin. Now retired from the Navy, Dave’s dream of fishing for a living is alive and well on the lake where it all began.
